BVE 2015 is here, and yesterday we took a trip to the event to check out all the new shiny gear. All the main players were in attendance including the likes of Panasonic, Sony, JVC, Vitec Group, Canon and so many more. Not only were we excited about the new products that were coming to market (and the special show discounts), but there’s a whole host of speakers and seminars to attend, including a team favourite Larry Jordan and his Final Cut expertise, as well as Phillip Bloom with his take on the pros and cons of 4K.

KIT THAT CAUGHT OUR EYE
There’s a huge selection of the latest cameras, drones and crazy rig set ups. We spent time checking out the new 4K JVC LS300, Black Magic URSA and Canon C300s.

One of our favourite things about BVE is checking out the seminars, this year we caught Larry Jordan talking everything FCPX and a couple of case study talks from some high end commercials.

IT’S ALL GOOD FUN
There’s some great displays and entertainment this year, from this amazing Sony FS7 ice sculpture on the CVP stand to some cracking ball skills over at WTS. Matt even got some tips on how to handle grumpy staff from Darth Vader!
