Six-second looping video application Vine is now available for Android after gaining more than 13 Million iOS users, and it’s popularity is expected to grow with five Vine tweets sent every second. The long awaited Android version also includes a unique zoom feature, with more updates arriving in the coming weeks.

Vine allows subscribers to share short videos, describing themselves as “the best way to see and share life in motion.”

Acquired by Twitter* in October 2012, the app has developed into not only a great way to share daily life with friends and family, but also a marketing tool.

Many businesses now use vine to advertise new products, to show off their personality and communicate with customers. As a free app, it’s a great way to share what your company is up to, and it appeals to customers because it’s short and sweet, taking no longer than six seconds of their time.

At Holler we’re fans of short online video, as we know it’s one of the fastest and most effective ways to get your content across to customers and investors, and is easily spread into your other online marketing campaigns through the use of social networking.

Vine is a great marketing tool, but it doesn’t give you the high-end feel that many companies desire. We work with our clients to develop ideas and make a glossy HD video to share their product, service or workforce online.
